**Job Title: 2nd Shift General Helper** **Job Description** A manufacturing company for packaging supplies is seeking a General Helper to perform general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials. **Responsibilities** + Move material and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas. + Sort and place materials up to 20 pounds or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code. + Count items to ensure conformance to company standards. + Mark materials with identifying information. + Open bales, crates, or other containers if needed. + Record the amount of materials or items received or distributed. + Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and short correspondence. + Ability to write short correspondence. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Must be comfortable with bending, lifting, and twisting repetitively in order to move material throughout the facility. **Why Work Here?** We offer a comprehensive benefits package including 401K, medical (Kaiser), dental, and vision. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
