Burger King - Assistant Manager

Burger King is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team at our restaurant located at 11400 NW 41st St, Doral, FL, 33178. As the Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in driving profitability, ensuring excellent guest service, developing your team, and managing daily operations. This is an on-site, full-time position with overtime and weekend availability required.

Overview:

• Support the Restaurant General Manager in managing the daily operations
• Directly manage a team of 20-25 talented and enthusiastic Team Members
• Drive key performance outcomes and work towards monthly bonuses

Qualifications And Skills:

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
• High School Diploma or GED required, 2 years of college preferred
• 1-2 years of previous quick service restaurant experience, experience in management preferred
• Some understanding of P&L interpretation and management to influence profitability
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Demonstrated understanding of guest service principles
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work long and/or irregular shifts as needed, for proper functioning of the restaurant

Summary Of Responsibilities:

• PROFITABILITY
• Manage inventory costs and maintain inventory through regular inspections
• Place and receive inventory truck orders
• Maintain a list of all restaurant assets
• Ensure preventative maintenance of the restaurant facility and equipment
• Follow cash control and security procedures
• GUEST
• Motivate and direct team members to exceed guest expectations with accurate, fast, and friendly service
• PEOPLE
• Provide coaching and feedback to enhance team capabilities and raise restaurant performance
• OPERATIONS
• Ensure efficient and accurate preparation and sale of products within established speed of service guidelines
• Uphold operational and brand standards
• Perform duties of Hourly Shift Coordinator when necessary
