TxV Aerospace Composites is seeking a Design Engineer who will be responsible for supporting development projects by creating component designs and manufacturing aids that meet customer requirements and align with internal manufacturing capabilities.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
· Collaborate with customers to define design briefs and meet project timelines.
· Develop 3D models and drawings to ISO/ANSI standards using SolidWorks.
· Contribute to concept generation, innovation, and optimization using FEA and Moldflow analysis.
· Provide detailed design for manufacture, including shop drawings, work instructions, and engineering masters.
· Create and maintain documentation in compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
Education, Skills & Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 3 to 5 years of experience or equivalent professional experience (Essential).
· Proficient in CAD (3D), design for manufacture, and engineering analysis tools, preferably SolidWorks suite.
· Experience in composites or polymer molding environments and digital simulation tools (e.g., Aniform, Moldflow, FEA).
· Strong project management, problem-solving, and industrial design thinking skills.
