We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiation Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a hospital or clinical setting and a strong ability to work with Varian linear accelerators. This position requires a solid commitment to patient care and the ability to operate both independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by the physician.
• Provide high-quality patient care and ensure patient safety throughout the treatment process.
• Operate Varian linear accelerators and other related equipment with expertise.
• Perform quality assurance checks on treatment machines and document results accurately.
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation in compliance with facility protocols.
• Collaborate with oncology teams to develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Educate patients and their families about the treatment process and potential side effects.
• Stay updated on advances in radiation therapy technology and protocols.
• Participate in departmental meetings and improvement initiatives to enhance patient care services.

Essential Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 - 2 years prior experience as a Radiation Therapist in a hospital or clinic setting.
• Proficiency with Varian linear accelerators is essential.
• ARRT Certification is mandatory.
• No gaps in education and employment history.
• No job hoppers; job stability is mandatory.

Desired Experience:

The candidate must exhibit a strong background in radiation therapy with a focus on patient care and effective communication within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
