Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work remotely  with our client in Lakeland, FL . Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

• The client is transitioning its global payroll environment to the SAP ECP platform.
• Initial assignment primarily focused on testing SAP ECP payroll results in preparation for transition to production.
• After implementation, the individual will transition to operational support for US Payroll.
• Post-implementation activities analyze, audits, reconciles, and resolves complex payroll processing and employee payroll issues to ensure smooth payroll processing with timely and accurate results.
• Interprets pay policies (vacation, benefits, savings, LOA, disability, workers' compensation, union contracts, government regulations, withholding exemptions) and correctly calculates and applies appropriate amounts/deductions to the various accounts.
• Ensures payroll outputs such as statements, reports, and payments comply with company policy, generally accepted accounting principles, and federal, state, and local regulations.
• Researches and interprets federal and state regulatory requirements and resolves tax, withholding, garnishment, and wage/hour issues for payroll processing.
• Responds to audit, legal, and regulatory inquiries.
• Documents payroll processes and procedures; may train payroll department staff.
• Works with system programmers to achieve solutions or administer the company payroll system with an outside service provider.

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in EPI-USE report design, including options for execution, accessibility, and delivery.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience with SAP ECP OR SAP on-premises payroll (Implementation or operations).
• Minimum of 4 years of experience with in-house payroll.
• Minimum of 4 years of Payroll system implementation experience to include design, build, test, train, or document.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience working effectively in a virtual environment.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

• Certified Payroll Professional (APA).
