This role supports residential remodeling and construction projects in both occupied and unoccupied homes. Key Responsibilities

  • Execute a variety of residential construction tasks including framing, drywall, finish carpentry, tiling, cabinet installation, painting, and flooring.
  • Interpret construction drawings and follow project specifications.
  • Install doors, trim, baseboards, cabinetry, and residential hardware with precision.
  • Perform basic plumbing and electrical fixture swaps under supervision.
  • Protect client property using dust barriers and clean work practices, especially in occupied homes.
  • Maintain an organized, safe, and clean job site.
  • Load/unload materials and handle demolition or prep work as needed.
  • Collaborate professionally with clients, managers, and subcontractors.
  • Follow all safety protocols and meet local code requirements.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in residential construction or remodeling.
  • Strong carpentry and finish work skills; experience across multiple trades is a plus.
  • Ability to read blueprints and scopes of work.
  • High attention to detail and craftsmanship in interior finishes.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Must have reliable transportation, a clean DMV record, and necessary tools.
  • Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and working on ladders or in variable weather.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
