About Houston

ExxonMobil's state-of-the-art campus north of Houston serves as home to its Upstream, Product Solutions and Low Carbon Solutions businesses and their associated service groups. The facility opened in 2014 and accommodates more than 10,000 employees and visitors.

By bringing many global functional groups together, the campus provides employees with the tools and capabilities needed today, and in the future, to achieve business objectives and accelerate the discovery of new resources, technologies and products. What role you will play in our team

Serve as a Project Manager (Commercial Construction Owner’s Representative) within ExxonMobil’s Environmental and Property Solutions (E&PS) Team managing projects >$5M directly contracted to E&PS.

What you will do

• Supports the E&PS project management organization (PMO) with option analysis after a business case and lead project case has been selected
• Manages communication with key stakeholders and Property Solutions Management
• Responsible for a building a project management team (PMT) to support project deliverables and successful completion
• Stewards commercial construction projects from design development through completion and handover to facilities; responsible for all elements of the project include cost, schedule, safety, and quality

About you

Skills and Qualifications

 

• Design and construction of commercial offices, methods, processes, practices, specifications, codes etc
• ExxonMobil practices, processes, and expectations with respect to infrastructure, office, and residential facilities standards
• Design and construction experience including positions as project manager on large project
• Ability to lead client facing project with schedule and budget pressure
• In-depth knowledge of Project Execution Process
• In-depth knowledge and experience with various contracting strategies
• Thorough understanding of project execution, cost/schedule management and Financial Management
• Understanding of bid tendering process and different compensation strategies
• Experience in leading teams (both in person and virtually)
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical, interpretive decision making
• Demonstrated ability to develop successful working relationships with emphasis on collaboration in an integrated project team environment
• Ability to travel up to 50%

Preferred Qualifications/ Experience

 

• Prefer 5-7 years of experience
