Social Media Manager & Content Creator

What You'll Do
In this role, you'll create and implement a consistent, long-term social media strategy tailored to the client's goals. You'll bring fresh content ideas to life daily, keeping the brand relevant and engaging. This includes:
Content Planning & Scheduling
Develop a weekly content calendar across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter.
Write compelling blog posts and manage the client's tour date calendar.
Content Creation
Craft eye-catching copy and visuals for posts (strong copywriting skills and experience with Photoshop and video editing are required).
Stay ahead of trends and use user-generated content (UGC) effectively.
Community Engagement
Actively engage with fans by liking, commenting, resharing, and responding to their content.
Build meaningful connections with the client's community by sharing authentic and timely interactions.
Client Collaboration
Present and explain social media strategies to clients during one-on-one sessions.
Provide real-time updates and recommendations based on platform trends.
Real-Time Posting & Monitoring
Schedule posts using tools like Hootsuite or Publer, while also posting and interacting in real time—weekends included.
What We're Looking For
Experience: Proven track record as a social media manager creating native content for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, and YouTube.
Creativity & Adaptability: A passion for developing fresh, innovative content ideas and adapting to social trends.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Photoshop and video editing software.
Professionalism: Ability to stay organized, meet deadlines, and go above and beyond when needed.
Passion for Music: Knowledge of and enthusiasm for hip-hop and related genres is a big plus!

This is an hourly, contract-based position. Please apply only if you're open to contract work and can commit to being "on-call" when needed.
